Trango Systems offers both licensed and licensed-exempt microwave products.  The TrangoLink™ Giga family of licensed microwave products are split-mount designs that support hybrid TDM and all IP-based network architectures across the 6-38 GHz frequency range.

The TrangoLINK Apex™ is an All-In-One licensed Ethernet native licensed system with coverage from 11-23 GHz and support for GigE Copper and Fiber interfaces.

The TrangoLINK-45™ product line is a medium capacity system that operates in the 5 GHz licence-exempt bands in a very compact form factor.

World Class Licensed Microwave Backhaul System 6-40 GHz

The TrangoLINK Orion Elite™ is an all-outdoor high-capacity full duplex wireless point-to-point radio link that is ideal for government, healthcare, banking and service provider applications requiring advanced data security and Gigabit capacity. The patent-pending design supports the entire 6-40 GHz licensed spectrum and all standard TR spacings, and has remarkable link reliability thanks to Adaptive Code Modulation (ACM) and best-in-class system gain.

With the most advanced integrated data encryption engine and intelligent payload compression, secure point-to-point microwave data transmission at Gigabit speeds is now a reality.

Advanced Information Security

The TrangoLINK Elite™ series of products is the only point-to-point microwave solution on the market that features NSA Suite B AES-GCM 128 and 256 bit encryption. Combined with IPSEC protocol support and Internet Key Exchange (IKE v2) management, information security is maintained over backhaul network equipment such as switches and routers, or even the Internet. All Elite point-to-point products are also FIPS 140-2 and HIPAA compliant to support government and healthcare industry requirements.

Intelligent Payload Compression (IPC)

Unique to the Elite series of products, IPC compresses packet payload data in real time to provide capacity improvements up to 2.5 times1 the raw data rate. Packets not yielding a compression ratio greater than 1, such as MPEG video streams and VOIP traffic, will be passed through uncompressed. The result is optimized performance for mixed traffic networks.

ApexPlus Overview

The TrangoLINK ApexPlus™ is an all-outdoor high-capacity full duplex wireless point-to-point radio link that is ideal for carrier Ethernet, WiMAX/ISP broadband backhaul, private enterprise networks and broadcast applications using licensed spectrum. The patent-pending design offers flexible installation options over the entire 6-40 GHz licensed spectrum and all standard TR spacings.

The ApexPlus builds on the success of the original Apex platform. With even better system gain and a richer management interface, ApexPlus provides best-in-class performance over 6-40 GHz and supports all major sub-bands. Native T1/E1 connectivity has been added to support base station synchronization requirements or TDM traffic. A new all-outdoor PoE injector with integrated lighting protection reduces installation costs and shelter requirements.
